COVID-19 Update: We’re Open With Enhanced Safety Measures
We’re happy to inform you that we are now able to once again provide dental care for you.
The Ministry of Health has lifted the restrictions placed back in March. While many things have changed since then, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your health and safety. Our office has always followed strict infection control standards and in order to keep us all protected during this pandemic and in the future, we have updated our protocols.
Enhanced Safety Precautions At Our Dental Clinic
As we welcome everyone back to our office for their dental care, we will be implementing enhanced safety precautions patients need to be aware of.
-You will be asked a series of screening questions via email 2 days before your appointment
-Please bring a mask and let us know you’re here by calling or texting us at 905-646-0096 or ringing the doorbell
-The door will be locked but we will be there. We will bring you into the building when the treatment room is ready for you.
-When entering the building you will need to have a mask on
-We will take your temperature and re-confirm your answers to the COVID-19 screening questions
-Hand Sanitizer will be provided and you will be asked to proceed to the dental chair
-There are medical grade HEPA air purifiers in every room and we have ensured our HVAC system changes the air every 10 minutes or less by an HVAC engineer/specialist
-Patient appointments are spread out to allow for air changes and disinfecting
-You will be provided a mouth rinse to kill viruses and bacteria
-We wear extra personal protective equipment
-Extra disinfectants and cleaning is being implemented throughout the clinic including a procedure calling fogging with a CDC approved disinfectant
-We physical distance as much as possible which includes non-use of the waiting room. Masks will be worn when physical distancing isn’t feasible.
-daily staff screening is completed including the ministry of health screening questionnaire with temperature and pulse oximetry recorded in our logbook
-We continue to implement our strict infection control standards and want to highlight that Canadian dentistry has among the highest infection control standards in the world
We look forward to safely treating you at your next dental appointment!
