Dr. John Mansbridge
Dr. John Mansbridge attended McMaster University and graduated with an honours Bachelor of Science in Biology, followed by a Master of Science in Biology. During his time at McMaster, Dr. Mansbridge enjoyed teaching as a mentor in the Let’s Talk Science project, working with high school students to help teach them lab skills and develop an interest in the sciences.
He attended dental school at the University of Toronto, and graduated with honours as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. John Mansbridge was the recipient of two awards for outstanding clinical performance. During his time at the University of Toronto, Dr. Mansbridge spent time working in the Mount Sinai Hospital Dental Program for Persons with Disabilities, providing dental care to persons with developmental challenges.
Dr. John Mansbridge is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Dental Association.
He recognizes a trip to the dentist can be an anxiety inducing experience and so has achieved qualifications in nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral sedation, and IV sedation to ensure the comfort of his patients. Learning new skills with continuing education courses allows Dr Mansbridge to apply the latest knowledge in restorative dentistry (fillings), implants, crown and bridge work, extractions (tooth removal) and root canal therapy.
Outside of dentistry, you can find Dr. Mansbridge hiking, camping and canoeing all over Ontario with his wife and husky. He looks forward to meeting you and your family at Henley Dental.
